tuesday tunes - brandon heath.

i've told you about brandon heath before. he was a third of the talent at the infamous mc live event i did exactly one year ago.

brandon is an incredible songwriter and has just released his third album- leaving eden.
i haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but if it's half as good as his last album, what if we, i am confident i'll be a fan.

(and doesn't brandon look good in his promo shots? styled by the lovely amber lehman, of course.)

here's a video of the first single- "your love"... i love this video because it's a great song, but also because it's filmed in my friends rusty & sarah's backyard :)

oh marisa, it is SO GOOD. i've been listening to it NONSTOP - i already know all of the words.

i especially love "it's alright."

and.

i definitely was going to skip a mutual friends' going away party until i heard track 8, i think. then i decided "yes, it is no good to be alone" and i went and had so much fun.

he is my favorite.

speaking of which... there was a rumor going around that you guys were going to *try* to sell copies of the mc event. i asked about it a couple of times throughout the year and was told to keep reminding you guys, so here i am reminding you. :)
i would totes buy a copy for no other reason than the boys singing together at the end. it took my breathe away and i would love to have it to relive. :)
*cough hint cough*

feel free to email me about it either way. :)

ok so apparently im going to be the annoying girl who comments twice on one entry... i guess thats how i roll...

i just wanted to say i was just listening to this song and i was totally stopped in my tracks when he sang "and though my innocence was taken, not everything was lost".
that got me in a big, big way. i sat here and just started tearing up. isn't it amazing how music does that?

and im out.
