we are all highly aware of my my friend laura, in tune with my love for all things TJ, gave me a wonderful gift recently: the i love trader joe's cookbook!! i finally got up the courage to try out some new recipes, and have LOVED it. everything you need for the recipe can be found at your local trader joe's, so i just bring my cookbook into the store with me to shop!
{while writing this post i discovered the "party" edition - um, whoever wants to get me a gift - take note!}
and she has a whole website because she loves trader joe's so much. i think we're destined to be friends.
california field trip to go to her cooking classes? hmmmmm.

hi marisa--so lovely to see you blogpost, and that you are enjoying my book! apparently we share a love for tj's!
i'm finishing up the international book now, and i see you are have an interest in africa. do you have any favorite dishes that might be adaptable to tj products? would love to hear your suggestions, as well as any favorite recipes from the i love trader joe's cookbooks!
thanks cherie!! sadly - my africa adventures in food have solely involved beans + rice... nothing too exciting. but i'm anxious to see what you find!
favorite so far: the mustard maple chicken over harvest grains - so good!
I really want to get this cookbook! We are in love with TJ's here in Atlanta and go there all the time :) Our favorites are the orange chicken, frozen lasagna, TJ lemonade, and I especially love the caramelized onion and feta cheese pastry bites (delicious)! I also really love the honey goat cheese log too! Always on the hunt for other people's favorites, so thanks for posting yours!
