some of my favorite DIY crafts i've been seeing on pinterest are an abundance of banners and bunting.everything from table banners to backdrops to cake toppers.
this bunting cake topper below is my personal favorite, but instead of re-inventing the wheel and walking you through the steps, i'll let christina at intimateweddings.com show you. you better believe i'm gonna be making one of these -- it sounds very do-able!! i'll update you in a few weeks when i make the time to do it :)

my other favorite is a ribbon wall banner (i'm doing this for my altar backdrop) -- i'm super excited to get crafty and make one of these, too!

ahhhh. #1. i LOVE bunting. my best friend recently got married and she'd made TONS of it and i wanted to put it EVERYWHERE, but it didn't end up many places {http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/309410_10150481115413976_759113975_11088675_1863321288_n.jpg}
and. the ribbon wall. idea. is SO ADORABLE. i want to make one just for my room or something. i love it that much and i don't think i could wait until i get married to utilize it.
